RCIS Crop Claims Specialist
Zurich Insurance Group
• Work the most complex claims involving multiple causes of loss • Exercise judgement to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts • Analyze applicable coverage for claims and determine if losses fall within the coverage • Assist in training lower-level adjusters • Complete Quality Assurance type reviews • Handle claims on specialty crops as designated • Work claims of 508H crops • Collaborate with the national training team
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or the crop insurance industry
- Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date
- Personal transportation and travel within assigned territory
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Role Description The Field Claims Supervisor contributes to Wawanesa’s goal of delivering an exceptional and consistent claims service experience by providing leadership to the claims team, focusing on the achievement of key business goals and customer service standards.
