Role Description Support the business by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements (NDAs, ELs, DPAs, & MSAs) across the Americas region (U.S., Mexico, Canada & South America). - Provide pragmatic legal guidance that enables business growth while appropriately managing legal risk. - Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient and scalable contracting processes. - Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of AI-enabled Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions. - Leverage legal technology and automation tools to improve contract management and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives. - Support cross-border legal matters and contracting activities across multiple jurisdictions. - Develop contract standards, templates, and best practices to enhance consistency and compliance. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent). - 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law. - Demonstrated experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements. - Experience working with U.S.-governed contracts and/or U.S.-based companies. - Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal). - Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and contracting practices. - Prior in-house legal experience or experience with an international law firm. - Experience with CLM platforms and legal technology solutions, including AI-enabled tools. Role Description EXUS is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Compliance and Risk Management function as an in-house legal advisor.
