For budding professionals in manifold disciplines, MasterClass creates online courses taught by some of the world's most prominent leaders in their respective fields. Based in San

Role Description We're looking for a performance marketer who knows Meta to its core: someone who can run an ultra-complex, high-performing account, understands the guts of the bid equation, and stays sharp in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment where the numbers matter every day. This is also a deeply cross-functional role. You'll dissect our purchase funnel alongside our Growth Product team — connecting ad-layer performance to on-site conversion — and work hand in hand with AI, building workflows and automations that take manual work off the team so we can spend our time on strategy. As a learning company, we'll invest in your growth: you'll work with a tech-savvy, data-driven team, get real exposure to leadership, and help shape the next chapter of how we win on Meta. What You Will Do - Own and scale MasterClass's Meta advertising end-to-end — campaign structure, implementation, budget allocation, reporting, and the bottom line — against CPA and ROAS targets. - Optimize all areas of our performance marketing as it relates to Meta, including landing page optimization, catalog management, creative development and execution, and event management. - Dissect the purchase funnel with Growth Product, MarTech, and Data — connecting ad-layer signals to on-site conversion and partnering on landing-page and funnel experiments that lift performance. - Work hand in hand with AI, building workflows and automations across reporting, optimization, and QA that remove manual work so the team can focus on strategy. - Design and run rigorous tests across creative, audience, bidding, and measurement; present clear learnings and recommendations to leadership; and stay decisive under pressure during launches and high-stakes moments. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Meta Ads Manager running large, complex paid-social accounts and optimizing to CPA or ROAS targets — you've owned a major account, not just supported one. - 2+ years in a manager role with proven examples working cross-functionally with growth, creative, and engineering teams. - Enthusiasm for working hand in hand with AI, with real examples of building workflows or automations that reduced manual work for you or your team. - Strong analytical skills — comfortable pulling data, running tests (A/B, and ideally incrementality or lift), and making data-informed decisions. - Excellent verbal and written communication, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Bonus Points For - Agency or in-house experience at a high-growth DTC or subscription business. - Advanced Meta tooling (Advantage+/ASC at scale, value-based bidding, CAPI). - SQL, Looker, or Amplitude. - DCO / creative-automation platforms. - Incrementality or Media Mix Modeling experience. - Managing contractors or a small team.
