Job Requirements

  • 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience
  • 3+ years as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Manager
  • CPA (strongly preferred)
  • Big 4 audit foundation (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC preferred)
  • Hands-on ERP expertise (Sage Intacct or NetSuite)
  • Chart of accounts design experience
  • Deep technical accounting fluency (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718)
  • Tax compliance experience
  • 409A and equity accounting experience
  • Experience in healthcare or health tech preferred
  • Genuine AI fluency (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
  • Demonstrated close and reporting automation

Role Description We’re looking for a Business Unit Controller to build and drive our Tesco and One Stop Accounts with AG Barr, primarily focusing on our Soft Drinks portfolio. As Tesco Business Unit Controller, you will be leading one of our most important accounts within the business and will build and implement a long term strategy, anchored around commercial and category growth in partnership with Tesco.
