Job Description

Business Development Specialist

Veta Virtual

• You will own the top of the growth engine, building market awareness, forging strategic partnerships, driving new revenue, and helping shape how the business goes to market. • As a Business Development Specialist, you will work directly as part of our client's growth team — targeting home-services business owners across the U.S. in verticals like roofing, HVAC, plumbing, garage doors, pool and spa, electrical, and landscaping. • You will introduce them to a powerful suite of business growth solutions including websites, local SEO, CRM automation, GoHighLevel software, AI development tools, and hosting services. • You own the pipeline from prospecting through close — and you build the partnerships and market presence that drive recurring deal flow. • Your day-to-day will involve building market awareness and positioning our client as the go-to marketing partner for home services operators — through outbound prospecting, content presence, community engagement, and strategic relationship building. • Running multi-channel outbound prospecting daily — cold calls, personalized email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, SMS, and Facebook group engagement — targeting U.S. home-services decision makers during their working hours. • Responding to and qualifying inbound leads quickly — routing them to the right closer or Growth Guide, or owning the deal yourself when it falls within your scope. • Closing deals independently across our client's core product lines — websites, local SEO, CRM automation, GoHighLevel, AI development tools, and hosting — while handing larger or more complex opportunities to senior closers when appropriate. • Developing strategic partnerships and referral channels that create recurring, qualified deal flow — attending industry trade shows, associations, and events to build presence and open doors. • Assisting with go-to-market strategy for new products and services — contributing market insights, prospect feedback, and competitive intelligence to shape how the business positions and launches new offerings. • Managing a clean, well-documented pipeline in GoHighLevel (GHL) — keeping CRM attribution accurate, every contact tagged, and every opportunity tracked from first touch to close. • Submitting daily activity logs and joining weekly pipeline reviews to track performance, act on feedback, and continuously raise the bar.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience — with a proven track record of both generating pipeline and closing deals with U.S. small and medium business owners.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and referral relationships that produce recurring revenue — not just one-off transactions.
  • Neutral or near-neutral U.S. accent and polished written English — you will be the face of the brand on every call, email, and in-person interaction.
  • Comfortable owning the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualifying through pitching, objection handling, and closing.
  • Hands-on CRM experience — GoHighLevel (GHL) knowledge is a strong plus as it is the core tool you will live in daily.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you thrive in fast-growing, unstructured environments where you build the playbook rather than just follow it.
  • Availability and willingness to travel to the U.S. for trade shows, industry events, and client meetings is strongly desired — having a valid U.S. visa or openness to processing one is a significant plus (company support may be available).
  • A reliable professional home office — business-class headset, high-speed internet with backup, quiet workspace, and dual monitors preferred.
  • Self-managed and results-driven — you hold yourself to a high standard, track your own numbers, and never need to be chased.
  • Bonus: prior experience selling to home-services contractors (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, garage doors, pool and spa) or selling marketing, SaaS, or digital agency services.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Apollo, Clay, Smartlead, Instantly, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or OpenPhone/Aircall.
  • Bonus: conversational understanding of local SEO, Google Business Profile, websites, and CRM/automation products.
  • Naturally curious, coachable, and composed — you ask smart questions, act on feedback quickly, and stay professional under pressure.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary in USD — paid consistently every month, regardless of where in the world you are.
  • Uncapped variable compensation — commissions on deals you source and close, reduced commissions on deals you source and a senior closer wins, and partnership bonuses for strategic referral channels you build.
  • 10 paid vacation days per year plus all U.S. federal holidays — because great performance deserves real rest.
  • 100% remote — work from anywhere in the world with a professional setup and overlap with U.S. business hours.
  • A defined career growth path — top performers are considered for senior growth and closing roles as the business scales, with significantly higher earning potential.
  • A high-performance, supportive culture through Veta Virtual and our client — where results are celebrated, feedback is constant, and your growth is taken seriously from day one.
