Role Description We are presently looking for a Live Data Production Editor to join our Content team. This role is responsible for our online video metadata, a key part of the Gracenote video data ingestion platform, consuming data from the digital catalogs of media outlets like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and iTunes and preparing that data for curation by Gracenote's editorial teams. Companies like Comcast, Google, and Apple rely on Gracenote video metadata to power their products for millions of customers around the globe. We are searching for highly motivated and knowledgeable sports gurus, specializing in American Football, Basketball, Hockey, and Baseball. This is a part-time position and the hours for the position will fluctuate during the year due to league schedules. There will usually be 2-4 shifts scheduled per week with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available. Ideal candidates will be available to work evenings during the week, and afternoons and evenings on weekends. The position requires the candidate being able to work from home with their own personal setup. The home setup would include: - PC or Mac - Keyboard - Mouse - Two monitors - Camera for video meetings and training - Reliable high-speed internet Qualifications - Availability on nights and weekends. Weekends may be specifically required. - Strong keyboarding skills required. Must be able to balance high-speed entry requirements with accuracy. - Knowledge of main North American sports leagues recommended. - Ability to quickly learn new procedures, and follow them consistently and accurately. - Punctuality and reliability are essential due to the live nature of the work. - Ability to work independently and within a team. - Strong communication skills. - Proficient with computer applications. - Completion of high school preferred.
