Role Description We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Patient Engagement Assistant to join our UK Clinic team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a call-intensive role focused on patient re-engagement. You will be responsible for contacting patients who have registered with the clinic but have not completed key steps in their journey, helping them navigate the process and addressing any questions or barriers they may have encountered. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, is confident on the phone, and takes satisfaction in helping customers move forward. Note: While this role is initially being offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, there is potential for the position to become permanent following the conclusion of the contract, subject to business needs and individual performance. What You'll Own - Conduct outbound calls to patients who have signed up but have not completed their onboarding or treatment journey. - Re-engage patients in a professional, friendly, and empathetic manner. - Identify and document common reasons patients discontinue or pause their journey. - Answer basic patient questions and provide guidance on next steps. - Escalate clinical or complex queries to the appropriate team members. - Maintain accurate records of patient interactions within company systems. - Support patient communication campaigns and follow-up initiatives. - Work closely with the Patient Support and Clinical teams to improve patient conversion and engagement rates. - Contribute feedback and insights that help improve patient experience and operational processes. Qualifications - Previous experience in customer service, administration, call centre, patient support, or a similar customer-facing role. - Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. - Highly organised with strong attention to detail. - Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems. - A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of outcomes. - Ability to stay motivated and energised in a high-volume outreach environment, bringing enthusiasm and professionalism to every patient interaction.
