Role Description We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented HCM Project Manager to join our ERP implementation team. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, you will own and execute one or more critical work-streams within a Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation and its associated integrations. This role demands strong project management skills, the ability to manage a team and budgets, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting Workday HCM initiatives and a focus on delivering results within defined timelines. Key Responsibilities - Work-stream Ownership: Manage the detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation for assigned HCM work-stream(s) of the ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan. - Process Management: Collaborate with HR leaders, business process owners, and functional leads to define requirements, map current and future-state processes, and support configuration activities across Workday HCM modules. - Team Management: Lead and guide a team of business analysts and other project team members within your assigned work-stream(s). - Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage risks within assigned work-streams. Escalate potential impact on the broader project to the Program Manager. Develop and implement solutions to keep your project components on track. - Partner Coordination: Where required, work with Workday representatives and/or external partners to manage technical integrations and align on requirements. - Communication: Provide regular progress reports to the Program Manager, team members, and other project stakeholders. - Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation as per defined standards. - Testing and Validation: Participate in the development of test plans for assigned workstream(s). Support execution of testing and UAT, ensuring issues are addressed. Qualifications - Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience with demonstrated experience leading or supporting Workday HCM, HRIS, or enterprise technology implementations. - Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams is preferred. - Understanding of Human Resources processes and familiarity with Workday HCM concepts is preferred. - Experience with modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, or Compensation is desirable. - PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. Prior Workday experience or certifications are highly desirable. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at working with both technical and business teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex implementation challenges. - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, maintain attention to detail, and execute effectively in a fast-paced project environment. - Remote within the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed to support client engagements, project milestones, and team events.
