Job Description

Director, Issuing Solutions Sales Executive

Visa

• Develop and execute customized account plans to increase sales volume • Create new sales and revenue generating opportunities • Expand existing relationships/partnerships through selling issuer payment processing services • Utilize a consultative sales approach to meet client’s business objectives • Prepare proposals and negotiate contractual relationships • Continuously review client landscape and recommend approaches to grow Visa business • Assist marketing and product development in launching new products • Contribute to the development of functional strategy • Provide operational or technical leadership within sales • Foster productive relationships with clients and Visa organization • Develop an understanding of customer's business including payment strategy • Participate and lead various ad-hoc internal projects • Participate in sales meetings and training activities

Job Requirements

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD)
  • At least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (Preferred)
  • 6+ years of work experience with a PhD (Preferred)
  • Extensive industry expertise
  • Knowledge of financial controls and legal impacts of contract management
  • Minimum of 8 years business experience with related sales and client management experience
  • Proven track record of successful sales and relationship management
  • Proven ability to interact with C level executives
  • Proven ability negotiating business agreements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 30% or more based on client needs
