Partner Marketing Manager

Role Description The Partner Marketing Manager, Alliance Growth & Adoption will lead marketing activation programs that drive adoption, demand generation, pipeline progression, and customer growth for assigned alliance partner solutions. This strategic individual contributor role will build scalable GTM plans, enable Sales and Customer Success teams, support co-marketing programs with priority partners, and use performance data to improve business impact. The role requires a strong cross-functional collaborator who can influence across internal and partner teams and turn partner priorities into measurable growth outcomes. This role reports to the Director, Partner Marketing, within the Ecosystem Marketing team. Essential Job Responsibilities - Lead GTM Activation: Own marketing activation plans for assigned alliance partner solutions, including audience, campaign strategy, messaging, enablement, KPIs, and optimization. - Drive Campaign Execution: Build and execute integrated campaigns that support partner solution adoption, demand generation, pipeline progression, and customer growth. - Create Campaign Communications: Develop briefs, messaging, launch materials, partner communications, and Sales/Customer Success activation assets. - Align Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partner teams, and Operations to bring coordinated campaigns to market. - Enable Customer-Facing Teams: Create talk tracks, activation guidance, and follow-up plays that help teams position partner solutions with customers. - Manage Co-Marketing Programs: Lead planning with priority Alliance partners across campaigns, events, webinars, content, promotional support, and partner commitments. - Measure Business Impact: Track campaign performance, adoption, funnel impact, pipeline contribution, and ROI to optimize future programs. - Lead Complex Initiatives: Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications while influencing across internal and partner teams. Additional Job Responsibilities - Support broader partner marketing priorities, including marketplace promotion, partner communications, launch support, webinars, events, content, and customer storytelling. - Help develop scalable partner marketing frameworks, co-branding guidance, campaign templates, reporting approaches, and repeatable activation motions. - Partner with internal teams and external partners to support campaign execution, post-campaign analysis, and continuous improvement. - Contribute to initiatives that improve Sales and Customer Success readiness for priority partner solutions. - Integrate AI tools into campaign planning, content creation, and performance analysis workflows to improve efficiency, uncover insights, and support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications - 6+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS, healthcare technology, enterprise software, partner marketing, customer marketing, field marketing, or ecosystem marketing. - Experience owning integrated marketing programs tied to adoption, demand generation, pipeline, customer growth, or measurable business outcomes. - Experience using campaign, CRM, funnel, attribution, or pipeline data to evaluate performance and recommend optimizations. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across matrixed teams. - Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, timelines, and dependencies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex solution narratives for customer-facing and internal audiences. - Familiarity with healthcare technology, marketplace or platform business models, marketing automation, CRM, attribution, dashboards, or campaign reporting preferred. Expected Compensation $92,000 - $156,000. The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. At athenahealth, base pay depends on multiple factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, how your qualifications compare to others in similar roles, and geographical market rates. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package - depending on role eligibility, we offer both short and long-term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
