Senior Director, Corporate Development

• Lead day-to-day execution of M&A and strategic transactions, including diligence coordination across Commercial, R&D, Legal, Finance, and Operations. • Serve as a liaison with external advisors (banks, legal counsel, consultants) during transaction execution. • Contribute to target identification and strategic assessments, including market fit, asset quality, and competitive positioning. • Build and review valuation models (DCF, IRR, NPV, accretion/dilution), scenario analyses, and financial risk assessments. • Coordinate with Commercial, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain and other cross functional teams to assess feasibility, integration potential, and strategic alignment. • Support internal governance processes including deal approval workflows and documentation. • Work with integration leads and FP&A to transition financial assumptions and strategic priorities into execution plans. • Identify and implement improvements in deal execution processes, templates, reporting frameworks, and internal collaboration practices. • Support capability-building initiatives within the Corporate Development team to drive consistency and efficiency across transactions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 8-12 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, or strategic finance, with a strong focus in pharmaceuticals and/or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex strategic transactions, including M&A, licensing, and divestitures.
  • Strong financial and valuation skills, with a strategic mindset and excellent project management capabilities.
  • Scientific and analytical fluency - ability to understand technical product information, R&D data, and therapeutic pipelines in context of deal strategy.
  • Experience fine-tuning internal deal processes and improving cross-functional workflows.
  • High emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and confidence in managing senior stakeholders and external partners.
