Role Description The Senior Medical Writer - Safety Focus is a major contributor to document authorship for a variety of aggregate safety reports within the safety service line. The Medical Writer - Safety Focus will be the project lead on smaller projects, interfacing directly with the client, but also support larger, more complex engagements as a member of a larger delivery team. Role Description SSRN is Elsevier’s preprint server, working with over 1,200 Elsevier journals to offer submitting authors the option to preprint their research. In this role, you will oversee the smooth operation of the medical queues, ensuring turnaround times are met and that all required reporting standards—including ethical information—are satisfied. You will also be responsible for ensuring that no potentially harmful preprints are posted. Occasional managerial oversight will be provided for complex situations and cases. Working closely with the Content Director, identify gaps in contractor coverage so that additional resources can be recruited, maintaining queue performance and health.
