Job Overview: A potential six figure work at home opportunity with growth into leadership for the right individual. We're currently hiring exceptional outbound Call Center - Lead Generation representatives to work remotely. As an outbound call center representative, you will proactively identify and reach out to potential clients through outbound calls, leveraging various sources such as databases, referrals, and other lists. The outbound call center representative will schedule appointments for our sales representatives with qualified leads while accurately recording sensitive data. This individual will meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for lead generation and appointment setting. Candidates that apply must live in Georgia for this role. Role Description The Patient Access Representative (PAR) has two major functions: patient registration and scheduling. Duties may vary by location/setting. - In a registration role, the PAR: - Greets patients/residents and verifies demographics for accurate registration/scheduling. - Takes care of related paperwork and creates electronic files. - Provides, scans, and routes necessary forms and documents. - Educates patients/residents and captures signatures on necessary paperwork. - Establishes and assigns financial responsibility and assists with arrangements. - Collects co-payments, pre-payments, and/or payments on account balances. - Addresses and resolves registration issues, including work queue errors and denied insurance claims. - In a scheduling role, the PAR: - Schedules patient/resident appointments and procedures. - Obtains and coordinates referrals and conducts pre-authorization. - Arranges interpreter services and checks patients/residents in/out. - Offers enrollment to additional resources and collaborates with the nursing team and providers. - May coordinate provider schedules, resolve work queue issues, and manage recall and waitlists. - Operates multi-line telephones and may serve as a switchboard operator. - Additional duties may include: - Preparation and coordination of charts and organizing supporting provider documents. - Discussing pre-payment responsibilities and initiating patient/resident financial assistance. - Prior authorization and tracking patient/resident visits. - Health information management on patient/resident accounts. - Compiling, distributing, administering, and scoring assessments. - Coordination of Telemed appointments and provider/schedule maintenance. - Charge entry/billing and charge verification. - Reminder calls for appointments and hospital admissions. - Making copies, sending faxes, and ordering supplies. - Serves as a mentor for new Patient Access Representatives and other staff. - Displays professionalism and promotes an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. - Must work as part of a team and independently, frequently taking direction from the nursing team. - Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. - Requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients. - Working knowledge of medical terminology and professional written communication is necessary. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education helpful. - One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting. - Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential. - Six months' customer service experience desired. - May require BLS for certain locations and/or settings.
