Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project delivery, along with experience working with municipalities and local public and regulatory agencies, and utility providers. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. - Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas with at least 6 years of relevant experience in civil engineering – preferably serving local public agency clients. - Familiarity with permitting processes with the coastal bend region. - Proven project and/or task management experience. - Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including grading, pavements, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design. - Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Civil 3D and common engineering software tools. Role Description SLC works on behalf of clients to support utility-scale thermal, solar, wind, battery energy storage, and other power generating and infrastructure projects. We evaluate and optimize technical, commercial, environmental, and financial aspects of the projects for a variety of clients.
