Role Description We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Finance & Strategy Manager to join our growing team at Courtyard.io! Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations - ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about using metrics-driven insights to power decision-making. You will be responsible for owning core financial models, partnering with cross-functional teams, and quarterbacking strategic initiatives across the business. What You’ll Do: - Own and evolve core financial models and forecasting processes, including functional ownership of key profitability drivers. - Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, and Ops to evaluate opportunities and develop robust financial analyses. - Turn ambiguous business questions into structured, actionable insights — helping stakeholders understand not just what happened, but why. - Drive performance analysis across business segments, surfacing growth opportunities, risks, and areas requiring attention. - Build business cases for new initiatives, from market sizing through expected ROI, and track performance post-launch. - Lead fast-moving strategic initiatives such as new category launches and go-to-market campaigns - ensuring financial clarity and measurable impact at every step. Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or strategic finance/business operations within a high-growth tech company. - Exceptional command of financial modeling and quantitative analysis, with a track record of tackling ambiguous problems and delivering clear, actionable insights. - Strong analytical toolset - SQL or data analysis experience preferred, or a clear desire to learn. - Fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for accelerating analysis and research, or a clear excitement about building that muscle. - Excellent communication and influence skills; you can align cross-functional partners and present confidently to leadership. - High attention to detail, bias for action, and a self-starter mentality — you don't wait to be told what to do.
