Title and Summary Consultant, Advisors & Consulting Services, Strategy & Transformation The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. MAKE AN IMPACT AS CONSULTANT As a Consultant, you will collaborate within small teams to help some of the world's biggest brands answer and often implement solutions for their most challenging strategic questions. You will immediately create meaningful contributions through taking ownership of deliverables and building external relationships with clients. Focusing on technology and data, you will gain broad exposure to a range of industries, including financial services, retail, restaurants, hospitality and more. Strategy & Transformation Guide clients through strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational challenges to enhance performance and operations. Our engagements cover diverse areas, including product development, marketing, customer loyalty, and innovation. Working with clients from various industries, many S&T engagements directly interface with numerous Fortune 500 companies. This role aligns with the practices of traditional management consulting firms. Sampling of questions we help our customers answer: • How can a global financial services institution be successful at entering a hyper competitive new market? • How can a customer improve its operating model to better achieve operational, financial and strategic goals? Team members typically support 1-2 projects concurrently, with each project lasting for approximately 8-16 weeks. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Client Impact• Provide creative input on projects across a range of industries and problem statements• Contribute to the development of strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value• Collaborate with Mastercard team to understand clients' needs, agenda, and risks• Develop working relationship with client analysts/managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner Team Collaboration & Culture• Collaborate with senior project delivery consultants to identify key findings, prepare effective presentations, and deliver recommendations to clients • Independently identify issues in defined area of analysis, and structure and synthesize own analysis to highlight relevant findings• Lead internal and client meetings, and contribute to project management• Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital• Receive mentorship from consulting leaders for professional growth and development QUALIFICATIONS Basic qualifications• Undergraduate degree with work experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, business line management, or product management• Relevant client or internal stakeholder management experience• Logical, structured thinking, and affinity for numerical analysis• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills• Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)• Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs Preferred qualifications• Ability to identify problems, brainstorm and analyze answers, and implement the best solutions• Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties• Relevant industry expertise OUR PURPOSE We work to connect and power an inclusive, digital economy that benefits everyone, everywhere by making transactions safe, simple, smart, and accessible.
