Senior Principal, ServiceNow Developer
General Dynamics
• Design, develop, and maintain forms, flows, catalog items, integrations, etc. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, process owners, and platform engineers to define requirements. • Support Agile ceremonies and uphold quality assurance throughout the lifecycle • Adhere to and enforce ServiceNow and OneGDIT best practices. • Support platform upgrades, patching, and deployments. • Participate in Agile software development efforts (standups, planning, grooming, estimation) to ensure quality delivery. • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma required; AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in prompt engineering, Now Assist and agentic AI
- 12+ years of ServiceNow development experience within ITSM environment
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and platform capabilities
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ability to obtain CSA cert within 90 days
- Extensive experience designing forms, UI policies, client scripts, workflows, business rules, integrations, and custom applications
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Must be a U.S. person.
