Job Description

Category Manager, Animal Health & Nutrition

• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, technologies and customer needs, and recommend portfolio value-creation initiatives for sustainable, profitable growth. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product value propositions. • Responsible for deploying portfolio positioning. • Develop and implement action plans for product pre-launch and post-launch phases. • Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate product success in the market and recommend actions to optimize sales. • Support sales teams by maintaining up-to-date marketing materials and toolkits tailored to our customers. • Develop and deliver internal and external marketing training programs for sales teams and customers. • Manage all aspects of the marketing mix.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or an engineering/technical degree in the agricultural sector (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years’ successful experience in product management within the animal nutrition and health industry.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of another language is a plus (French advantageous).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and operate within a matrixed, multicultural environment.
  • Open-minded team player with strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating product vision and strategy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (or equivalent).
