• Partner with enterprise customer teams to understand business operations and define analytical requirements. • Use SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to analyse large, messy retail datasets and surface meaningful insights. • Create dashboards and visualisations that highlight store performance, identify improvement opportunities and measure results. • Translate data findings into practical recommendations that drive operational excellence. • Collaborate with Product, Customer and Implementation teams to ensure our data stories connect with business priorities. • Continuously refine how we interpret and present data, improving clarity, speed and impact for internal teams and clients alike.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in BI, analytics or data-driven decision support (ideally within retail, FMCG, or SaaS).
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills, with confidence working directly with complex datasets.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar.
  • An analytical mindset with a genuine curiosity about what data reveals and how it can drive action.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
  • Collaborative and commercially aware, able to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience working with retail, FMCG or other operational data environments (even better if you have)
  • Exposure to data pipelines, ETL processes or data modelling (even better if you have)
  • Hands-on experience using data to drive operational change or performance improvement (even better if you have)
  • Familiarity with how data flows from source systems into BI tools (even better if you have)
  • A track record of influencing decisions or improving processes through data insights (even better if you have).

The Opportunity The Senior Metrics Consultant provides administrative support and customer service to one or more large group insurance clients.
