Director of Business Development
SERVPRO
• Lead national and regional business development strategy focused on insurance carriers, TPAs, independent adjusters, and brokers. • Own the lifecycle of target accounts: identification, relationship development, onboarding, and long-term account success. • Assist in developing and executing a national and regional business development strategy aligned to Canadian market conditions and organizational growth objectives. • Maintain a high level of knowledge relating to the carrier initiatives and assist in system alignment. • Manage revenue growth targets and ensure National Account coverage goals are met. • Act as an ambassador of the SERVPRO brand within the Canadian insurance industry. • Conduct structured quarterly and annual business reviews with key accounts to assess performance, growth opportunities, and program alignment. • Serve as a bridge between national insurer relationships and franchise-level execution.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, national accounts, or strategic sales within insurance, restoration, or related service industries.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian insurance claims environment and restoration economics.
- Demonstrated credibility and effectiveness when working with insurer stakeholders.
- Experience within franchise, distributed, or multi-unit business models preferred.
- Proficiency with software commonly used in the insurance and restoration industries.
- Strong core competencies including strategic selling, commercial negotiation, executive presence, relationship-based influence, data-driven pipeline and performance management, persuasive communication, presentation skills, and a high degree of accountability and execution discipline.
