KBL Environmental Ltd.
• Manage environmental projects from planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, reporting, and overall project performance • Coordinate with clients, regulators, internal teams, subcontractors, and field crews to meet project and compliance requirements • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, work plans, and proposals for new and existing project opportunities • Oversee field activities, site safety, sampling programs, and compliance monitoring to ensure work is completed safely and to regulatory standards • Lead, support, and mentor field staff through training, task delegation, and ongoing project communication
Job Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in Environmental Sciences or a related field
- Hands-on experience in environmental site assessment, remediation, and sampling (soil, water, air)
- Ability to perform physically demanding field work, including lifting up to 100 lbs
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to multiple project sites across the North
- Willingness to work both in the office and in the field
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to remote project locations
- First Aid and WHMIS/TDG certifications (or willingness to complete training provided by KBL)

The Role Reporting to Director of Project Management, the Project Manager - Chirp will be to keep Chirp humming — from concept through creator launch. You’ll own the planning, communication, and coordination that ensure the Chirp roadmap comes to life. You’ll manage the systems, tools, and processes that give the team visibility into what’s happening, what’s next, and what’s blocking progress. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that requires exceptional organization, communication, and follow-through. You’ll be the connective tissue between Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing — ensuring everything moves in sync from idea to execution to go-to-market. What You’ll Do Program & Roadmap Ownership (In Partnership with Search Ops Lead) Own the Search operating calendar , defining key milestones, sprint schedules, and delivery expectations across teams Own the Chirp master roadmap — tracking all initiatives across product, marketing, and creator programs. Manage the Chirp program calendar , ensuring launches, reviews, and dependencies are clearly communicated and visible to all teams. Maintain alignment across stages — from ideation and validation to production, creator rollout, and post-launch optimization. Partner with leadership to prioritize projects, flag risks, and keep the roadmap current and actionable. Project & Milestone Management Oversee the full project lifecycle — from concept to go-to-market launch — ensuring milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and met. Build and maintain project plans with clear owners, deadlines, and deliverable status. Lead milestone reviews and readiness meetings to confirm alignment and surface blockers early. Drive accountability and ensure the team is tracking progress against defined goals and success metrics. Tools, Systems & Documentation Own Chirp’s project management tools (e.g., Coda, Asana, or Jira) — structure, workflows, dashboards, and templates. Ensure all projects are accurately tracked, updated, and documented — keeping the system of record clean, current, and trusted. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that reflect roadmap progress, launch readiness, and team capacity. Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and transparency across teams. Communication & Coordination Own the flow of information for the Chirp program — ensuring updates are timely, clear, and consistent across all stakeholders.
