• Manage environmental remediation, reclamation, demolition, civil earthworks, and pipeline-related projects. • Prepare accurate project estimates, budgets, scopes, and forecasts. • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements. • Monitor project performance related to safety, cost, schedule, productivity, profitability, and QA/QC. • Manage project costs, forecasting, documentation, progress billings, and change management. • Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and client deliverables. • Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers. • Maintain strong client relationships and communication throughout project execution. • Provide leadership in safety and mentor site supervisors in field reporting and job costing.
• Operational Leadership – oversees multiple projects simultaneously or large/complex projects • Sets execution strategy and ensures compliance with project plans • Identifies risks early and implements mitigation strategies • Involves and works with stakeholders appropriately and effectively • Safety & Environmental Leadership – sets the safety culture on all projects with full compliance with company and regulatory safety and environmental standards • Financial & Business Accountability – works closely with the Project Manager to ensure project profitability and cost control • Reviews and adjusts labour, equipment, and production plans to meet margin targets • Provides input into bids • People Leadership – creates an engaging environment for teams, often across multiple sites and in accordance with KBL Values • Responsible for resource planning, performance management, employee development • Technical Expertise - has a deep level of understanding of advanced water management solutions including water treatment, sludge treatment, stormwater management and able to learn our specialized systems and related equipment
• The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project over its entire lifespan (plan, execute, monitor and finalize) according to deadlines and approved budget. • Accurate estimation of civil earthworks, environmental, pipeline and/or demolition projects. • Ensuring projects are executed in accordance with contracts, drawings and specifications. • Ensuring projects meet or exceed project goals in regards to Safety, Cost, Productivity, Schedule, Profitability and QA/QC. • Responsible for continual cost control, management and forecasting of projects including daily review and approval of daily LEM’s. • Review and approval of required project administration and documentation. • Manage project contract agreements to ensure they are reviewed, processed and executed. • Prepare and collect progress billings and holdback receivables in a timely manner. • Procure & manage subcontractors and suppliers. • Communicate with the client during project execution and develop & maintain client relationships. • Negotiate contracts, change management and claims. • Provide leadership in safety by ensuring all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures are met or exceeded. • Ensure all necessary project safety provisions and procedures are implemented on each and every project. • Mentor site supervisors to ensure they are competent in the input of field data capture and job costing.
• Manage environmental projects from planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, reporting, and overall project performance • Coordinate with clients, regulators, internal teams, subcontractors, and field crews to meet project and compliance requirements • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, work plans, and proposals for new and existing project opportunities • Oversee field activities, site safety, sampling programs, and compliance monitoring to ensure work is completed safely and to regulatory standards • Lead, support, and mentor field staff through training, task delegation, and ongoing project communication
