Role Description As a Senior Frontend Engineer at CodeRoad, you will anchor the user interface development within a high-performing full-stack ecosystem. Operating inside an Agile Scrum POD, your primary focus will be engineering robust, scalable, and highly responsive web applications utilizing React, NodeJS, and modern JavaScript architectures. This role is critical to transforming complex enterprise workflows into intuitive, high-performance user experiences. By bridging the gap between product vision and technical execution, you will champion code quality, drive UI/UX scalability, and collaborate across multi-tier environments to deliver production-ready software every sprint. Key Responsibilities - Own the development, end-to-end testing, and code review of high-performance, user-facing features using React and modern JavaScript. - Architect and rapidly assemble modular UI prototypes, seamlessly integrating feedback from Product Owners and UX designers to optimize usability. - Optimize application performance and responsiveness by collaborating with backend engineers to integrate efficient RESTful APIs. - Lead the evaluation of modern frontend tools, frameworks, and styling methodologies (LESS, Bootstrap) to establish and document reusable UI components and standards. - Collaborate closely with Architects and cross-functional Scrum teams to break down complex user stories into thin slices of deliverable, production-ready code. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep expertise in JavaScript, React, and NodeJS. - Proven track record of building enterprise-level web applications using HTML, CSS, LESS, and Twitter Bootstrap. - Strong hands-on experience consuming and integrating RESTful web services. - Solid proficiency with frontend unit testing frameworks (such as Jest or tools compatible with DotCover). - Demonstrable experience operating within an Agile/Scrum framework. - Ownership mindset with a team-first, proactive attitude towards solving complex technical challenges. - Advanced English proficiency (written and oral) with excellent communication skills. Nice to Have - Familiarity or ecosystem exposure to the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET, and MS SQL Server) to better collaborate on multi-tier initiatives. - Experience or exposure to legacy migration, including AngularJS. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Git. - Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
