Senior Director of Data, Analytics
Global Overview
• Lead the long-term data roadmap for the data analytics team, balancing internal development priorities against the evolving capabilities of third-party platforms. • Partner with our internal data and engineering team to design, build, and manage the data infrastructure. • Ensure our data architecture enables analysts to work at the macro level. • Lead GO's analytics vision and measurement frameworks spanning retail health, advertising performance, brand growth, and operational efficiency. • Evaluate third-party analytics and data platforms with a critical lens. • Partner with Business Development, Retail, Operations, and Advertising leadership to align data infrastructure and analytics capabilities with organizational growth priorities.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data strategy, or related roles; at least 7 years in senior leadership, building and managing teams.
- Deep expertise in Amazon Advertising and related measurement tools, including AMC, Omnichannel Metrics, media mix modeling, etc.
- A track record of evaluating analytics solutions and successfully championing the right solutions to best serve team needs.
- Experience managing technology vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and roadmap advocacy.
- Experience evaluating and implementing AI platforms in a commercial environment; working knowledge of data privacy regulations and responsible AI principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) strongly preferred.
