**What You Will Do ** You will work within Narrative Design & Writing to ensure narrative content is functional, cohesive, and immersive across the entire player experience. **Feature QA ** • Execute manual testing for all gameplay features, validating functionality, performance, and player experience. • Conduct regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure stability across builds. • Document, track, and prioritize issues in JIRA, providing clear and actionable feedback to developers and designers. • Maintain detailed and up-to-date test cases and plans for all pod content. Narrative QA • Story Development Support: Review and validate Story Documents, Outlines, Breakdowns, Capsules, and Scripts for narrative consistency and logic. • Character & World Documentation: Assist with QA passes on Character Bios, Story Bibles, Character Bibles (with Art), and Style Guides (with Design) to ensure alignment between writing, design, and art. • Narrative Tools & Systems: Test Narrative Design Documentation, Feature Wrappers, Narrative Design Specs, Presentation Decks for completeness and cross-discipline clarity. • Implementation Testing: Validate Narrative Mission Flows, 4X Branching Missions, ARPG Branching Quests, Dialogue, Objectives, and Script Implementation for correct triggers, progression logic, and localization integration. • Player-Facing Copy QA: Ensure quality and tone consistency for in-game text including Character, Ship, Building, and Location Descriptions, Asset Naming, and Ancillary text (Modals, Strings, Push Notifications). • Narrative-as-a-Service Support: Collaborate with live-ops and content pods to QA ongoing narrative updates and Pod Support content. • Cinematic & VO Support: Assist with Cutscene Blocking, Barks, Walk & Talks, and Voiceover Direction verification (e.g., line delivery, text/audio sync, timing)
Job Requirements
- You Bring **
- 2+ years of QA experience within narrative-driven or content-heavy game projects, with a strong focus on story validation, dialogue systems, or branching content.
- Deep understanding of narrative structure, story logic, and character consistency, with the ability to identify pacing, continuity, or tonal discrepancies across multiple narrative assets.
- Familiarity with narrative tools and pipelines, including script editors, dialogue trees, localization systems, and in-engine narrative implementation workflows.
- Hands-on experience testing branching missions or quests, ensuring progression logic, objective triggers, and player-choice outcomes function as intended.
- Strong attention to grammar, tone, and style, with the ability to maintain consistent narrative voice across in-game text, descriptions, and UI copy.
- Experience working with localization and VO pipelines, verifying text/audio synchronization, subtitle accuracy, and language integration.
- A passion for storytelling in games and an eye for narrative detail, ensuring every piece of dialogue, text, and cinematic moment supports the player experience.

Role Description The Individual Giving Manager works with the Fundraising Director to lead and execute on Sunrise’s individual giving strategy. This includes managing donor relations, growing Sunrise’s donor portfolio, and training staff and volunteers on fundraising skills. Oversee staff solicitation of grassroots donations as part of this campaign. - Develop and run trainings for staff and volunteers on how class privilege relates to fundraising. - Volunteer Fundraising Support (10%) - Develop and execute plans for how Sunrise’s fundraising team develops the skills and capacity of Sunrise members to raise money to support organizing work, including: - Leadership development and training for Sunrise hubs. - Coaching and mentorship. - Developing guides and resources. - Collaborating with Operations and Finance departments to ensure hub fundraising is legally compliant. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience doing individual fundraising (not simply grants management). - Strongly aligns with Sunrise Fundraising Principles. - Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; persistent go-getter attitude with ability to read the room. - Ability to draft persuasive and rousing written communications without relying on ChatGPT or AI resources. - A collaborative approach, relational skills, and the ability and desire to succeed as a member of a team. - Strong class analysis and comfort in talking about money; ability to welcome people who don’t want to talk about money to open up about money. - Has a track record of effectively pitching social movements to funders. - Show a strong commitment to Sunrise’s strategy and the movement for a Green New Deal. - Willingness and ability to travel. - Some experience using EveryAction and/or other CRMs. Requirements - Management experience (nice to have, but not necessary). - Experience with digital fundraising campaigns and strategies (nice to have, but not necessary). - Experience with planned giving programs (nice to have, but not necessary).
