Job Summary We are looking for a BIM Coordinator who is responsible for model delivery, review, coordination, and ensuring that firm-wide and project standards are maintained on all deliverables. The BIM Coordinator acts as the central hub through the BIM process and is capable of coordinating with a variety of disciplines in the BIM environment. The BIM Coordinator has close contacts with project managers, studio leaders, BIM Managers, and external design consultants. This position will be working out of either our Ontario or Los Angeles, California office. This position is eligible for hybrid (office/remote) working arrangement and flexible working hours. Responsibilities • Build and manage federated BIM models across disciplines, ensuring alignment with project scope and the BIM Execution Plan. • Maintain graphic and BIM standards and ensure consistency across all project models. • Perform clash detection, coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, and support model adjustments. • Generate model health, coordination, and status reports, and help steer BIM workflows and tools. • Train, mentor, and support project teams in BIM processes, Revit standards, visualization tools, and digital workflows. • Collaborate on advanced modeling, rendering, scripting, and data-related solutions. • Develop training materials and support BIM education initiatives firm-wide. • Assist with software updates, troubleshooting, and user support. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, IT, or equivalent. • Minimum 5 years' experience in design or construction practice. • Proficiency with visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion, 3ds Max, Rhino, SketchUp). • Experience with computational design tools such as Dynamo or Grasshopper. • Familiarity with performance/analysis tools (Cove.Tool, Ladybug, Climate Studio, etc.). • Experience using collaboration and coordination platforms (BIM360/ACC, Navisworks, etc.). • Knowledge of legacy CAD workflows. • Previous experience training teams in Revit and BIM processes. • Ability to define BIM deliverables and coordinate BIM protocols and execution plans. • Ability to travel as needed; hybrid work schedule. This position is non-exempt. The salary range for this position is $52,858 - $74,314 ($25.41-$35.73). The actual offered salary for this position will vary depending on multiple factors including the candidate's qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. The salary range listed above does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, employee stock ownership grants, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
