Senior Director, Marketing Finance
Nutrafol
• Own, build, and continuously refine the Revenue and Marketing forecast model for Nutrafol's .COM and Amazon channels, serving as the single owner of the financial plan for these businesses and ensuring it reflects current channel strategy, market dynamics, and evolving assumptions. • Facilitate and continuously improve the annual and ongoing financial planning process for .COM and Amazon, coordinating with channel, Marketing, and commercial teams, setting the planning calendar, and delivering a consolidated channel financial plan to senior leadership. • Lead key strategic finance initiatives, including scenario planning, investment prioritization, and other high-priority projects assigned by senior leadership. • Act as a trusted thought partner to the CMO and SVP, Head of Finance, partnering on strategic insights and decision making for the .COM and Amazon channels and translating complex financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. • Build, manage, and develop a team, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement, analytical rigor, and strong business partnership. • Drive the adoption of best-in-class financial planning tools, processes, and AI-enabled workflows to increase team velocity and insight quality. • Partner with Accounting, Data, and Business teams to ensure the integrity and consistency of financial data underpinning plans, forecasts, and reporting.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing a team
- Direct experience in a DTC or e-commerce business required
- Experience with Amazon's retail ecosystem (Vendor Central, Seller Central, or Amazon Advertising) and familiarity with Amazon-specific financial metrics is a plus.
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree required; backgrounds in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategy are a plus.
- Deep financial modeling expertise: able to independently build, maintain, and communicate complex, integrated financial models (long-range plans, scenario analyses, investment cases) with precision and clarity.
- Proven people management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams and creating a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional executive communication skills: experienced presenting financial narratives and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board-level audiences.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to influence without authority and drive alignment across Finance, Marketing, Operations, and the broader leadership team.
- Demonstrated comfort leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate financial analysis, automate routine tasks, and surface insights faster, with a proactive mindset toward exploring how AI can raise the bar on team output.
- Experience with Tableau or other BI tools and advanced proficiency in Excel.
