• Own strategy, growth, and business outcomes for Virta's Public Sector segment. • Lead and develop high-level sales professionals responsible for the national public sector. • Shape Public Sector sales strategy and market expansion in partnership with executive leadership. • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, partnerships, and growth channels. • Build executive relationships with government, labor, consultant, and partner stakeholders. • Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and revenue performance across the segment. • Design scalable operating models, talent strategies, and organizational structures. • Champion adoption of AI-enabled workflows, sales methodologies, and best practices. • Serve as sponsor for strategic accounts, partnerships, and market initiatives. • Represent Virta as a thought leader across industry, government, and labor organizations. • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, development, and results. • Reinforce Virta’s mission-driven culture and values across the commercial organization.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in public sector sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing public sector sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, and quota attainment.
- Experience selling complex healthcare, benefits, or enterprise solutions.
- Experience building relationships with public sector decision-makers, consultants, brokers, and strategic partners.
- Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive market growth and expansion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to use data and market insights to drive decision-making and business performance.
- Successfully designed and implemented AI-enabled workflows or processes that improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Knowledge of the key events, associations, partnerships, and channels that influence awareness and purchasing decisions within the public sector market.
