Lead Business Analyst

EXL

• Apply business analysis leadership across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, solution design support, testing, implementation, and handoff. • Partner closely with business users, senior stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, support teams, and project teams to drive solution clarity. • Manage requirement changes and mitigate delivery risks. • Mentor team members and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced client environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including writing business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Experience working on medium to large-scale technology or business transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of requirements management, testing support, stakeholder communication, and solution delivery.
  • Experience in the life insurance and annuity domain, including new business and underwriting processes.
  • Hands-on experience with LifePRO or similar policy administration platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and supporting distributed or offshore teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and driving process improvement initiatives.
