• Source, analyze and maintain up to date information in order for our Health Guides to best support our members with benefit options and available programs and services. • Conduct quality audits and maintain accountability for accuracy. • Maintenance of our content management system as well as the member-facing benefits tools, primarily focused on small group and mid-sized clients. • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to assess priorities for navigating benefit ecosystem. • Answers benefit questions; ensures members understand their options and shared financial responsibility, e.g. deductibles, coinsurance, and out of pocket maximum. • During peak periods, supports the navigation team by sourcing high-quality care providers based on a member’s needs and preferences.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of healthcare benefits, i.e. medical, pharmacy, dental, vision.
- Demonstrates ability to synthesize benefit information, healthcare jargon, and communicate in plain language.
- Analytic skills set required, i.e. research and analyze information related to the client’s benefit offerings and ecosystem.
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient technological ability / literacy, i.e., computer literacy, content management system experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel, Word, GoogleDocs/sheets, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Goal oriented and ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business demands.
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one project at a time.
- Continuous process improvement mindset and desire to enable NavOps to scale.
