• Apply relevant teaching experiences and understanding of learning sciences, pedagogy, and instructional design • Develop clearly-written, pedagogically-appropriate, digital-first solutions • Work as part of a collaborative agile scrum team • Lead parts of the solution with guidance from senior members • Define the end-to-end user journey for all digital experiences • Create and adapt content and metadata for a research-based, digital-first experience • Serve as a developer on a scrum team • Participate in user research and advocate for it • Apply insights from data to propose solutions to market problems • Deliver iterative solutions on time and within budget
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in instructional design for K-12 students or a combination of K-12 instructional design and teaching
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Expertise in K-12 Reading instruction
- K-12 teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience designing content for biliteracy instruction (Spanish/English) and multilingual education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience working on agile scrum teams, JIRA (preferred)
- Experience working in a content management system (preferred)
- Experience using data analysis/interpretation to inform solutions to market problems (preferred)
- Experience creating and using metadata (preferred)
