Role Description We are sharing a specialised remote consulting opportunity for experienced market research, consumer insights, and customer research professionals based in the United States, with strong expertise in research methodology, executive-level reporting, insight synthesis, and quality evaluation. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on market research report quality, business insight evaluation, research methodology review, executive communication standards, and strategic recommendation assessment. Selected professionals may help define what high-quality business research and decision-ready reporting should look like across complex business questions, research workflows, and executive-facing deliverables. Key Responsibilities - Report Framework Development - Define standards for high-quality business research reports and executive communications - Establish best practices for evidence interpretation, research synthesis, insight generation, and recommendation development - Help create evaluation rubrics that distinguish exceptional, average, and poor-quality research outputs - Contribute expert judgment on what makes a report clear, credible, actionable, and executive-ready - Research Report Writing & Insight Synthesis - Analyse complex business questions and translate them into structured research approaches - Synthesise findings from multiple sources into clear, actionable recommendations - Produce decision-ready reports comparable to research and insights deliverables presented to executive leadership - Ensure reports demonstrate strong logic, clear evidence use, and practical strategic value - Report Quality & Workflow Evaluation - Review research and reporting workflows for reasoning quality, analytical consistency, and recommendation strength - Evaluate outputs across accuracy of interpretation, appropriateness of confidence assessments, logic quality, and executive readiness - Assess whether research conclusions are well-supported, clearly communicated, and suitable for senior decision-makers - Provide detailed feedback, scoring rationale, and quality guidance for improvement - Methodology & Executive Communication Review - Evaluate research quality, methodology fit, questionnaire design, and evidence interpretation - Assess concept tests, message tests, brand tracking studies, customer research, and related research outputs - Review whether findings are communicated clearly for senior executives, business leaders, and strategic stakeholders - Help ensure final deliverables meet professional market research and insights standards Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, customer research, or related research roles - Experience at Kantar, NielsenIQ, GfK, Gartner, Forrester, Circana, IRI, Mintel, Euromonitor, or a comparable research organisation - Strong expertise in survey methodology and questionnaire design - Experience conducting concept tests, message tests, brand tracking, customer research studies, or similar research programs - Experience producing executive-facing presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations - Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain research quality judgments clearly - Current location in the United States Requirements - A degree in Market Research, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field is helpful - Equivalent professional experience in market research, consumer insights, customer research, or strategic research consulting is also highly relevant - Advanced training in research methodology, survey design, analytics, or business strategy is especially valuable Nice to Have - Experience across CPG, healthcare, pharma, financial services, retail, technology, or consumer sectors - Experience presenting findings and recommendations directly to senior executives - Experience evaluating research quality, methodologies, deliverables, and insight-generation workflows - Expected commitment includes approximately 40 hours during the first week for training, calibration, and framework development - After the first week, expected commitment is approximately 15 hours per week for the remainder of the engagement - Compensation may reach up to $140/hour, depending on project scope, experience, credentials, and fit - Payments are made weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered - Projects may be extended, shortened, adjusted, or concluded based on project needs and performance -
