Job Description
Marketing Manager
Virtusan
Role Description Help us build the operating system for human longevity. Virtusan is a Swiss-based longevity ecosystem at the intersection of science, technology, and premium real-world experiences. We connect data, behaviour, and environments so people can live longer, better lives. We’re a small team and offer real ownership from day one. We need someone who owns their work completely: sets the direction, writes the copy, reads the data, and adjusts without waiting to be asked. This is not a coordination role. You'll define how Virtusan communicates across every channel we operate, and you'll be accountable for the results. You'll report directly to our Managing Director. Tasks What You'll Own: - Product messaging: - Lead value proposition development across our portfolio: smart ring, app, red light therapy devices, and future products. - Own B2C messaging across segments: app users, ring buyers, health-conscious early adopters. - Test and iterate messaging based on engagement data, in close partnership with the product team. - Website and e-commerce: - Own our website and updates across launches, campaigns, and seasonal priorities. - Manage and optimise our Shopify store: product launches, descriptions, landing pages, conversion elements. - Support fulfilment and logistics setup ahead of our US market launch. - Spot and fix proactively what isn't working. - App marketing: - Own App Store and Play Store positioning: listings, keywords, visuals, download and activation performance. - Drive ranking and conversion improvements through systematic testing. - Support app launches and in-app messaging. - Content marketing: - Define and own content strategy across YouTube, email, and in-app touchpoints. - Run our YouTube channel (80K subscribers): scripting, briefing, publishing, optimisation, audience engagement. - Develop written content — newsletters, blog posts, web copy — that builds positioning and drives acquisition. - Own the content calendar; at a later stage, reactivate additional social channels. - Plan, write, and execute lifecycle and campaign emails via Brevo. Own subscriber growth and funnel touchpoint quality. - Test & iterate and report on performance across activities with your own conclusions. Qualifications - 6+ years of hands-on digital marketing in a B2C product or B2B SaaS context, with ownership of outcomes. - Proven ability to develop product messaging strategy, not just execute it. - Strong copywriting in English across formats: email, long-form, short-form, UX copy, video scripts. - Experience with GenAI tools and AI-assisted/automated marketing flows. - Data-driven: you track results, form conclusions, and adjust without being prompted. - Takes ownership: makes well-reasoned calls independently rather than waiting for direction. Moves toward problems, not around them. - Based in EU timezone, working as an independent contractor. Requirements - YouTube experience: strategy, scripting, or channel management at scale. - App marketing experience. - Fluency in wellness, fitness, and longevity topics. - B2B marketing exposure in premium or professional services. - Previous experience in Performance Marketing. - Fluency in German. Benefits - Send your resume with examples of work you've led: email campaigns, app marketing campaigns, YouTube content, or messaging strategy. Company Description Virtusan is a digital health platform that aims to create holistic health journeys for everyone, from all aspects of life, to maintain healthy, productive, and happy lives.
