AVP – IAM Scrum Master
Synchrony
• Lead teams and the organization on how to best use Agile principles/frameworks and effectively leverages appropriate best practices • Advocate for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams • Act as Scrum Master for assigned Scrum/Kanban teams, facilitating ceremonies such as, stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives • Keep agile team focused on concrete priorities while keeping outside influences from disrupting the agile team and actively identify and remove waste and distractions • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand the expected product functionality and customer requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with Jira, Agile, and other project management tools
- Minimum 5 years of working in Agile transformation as a Scrum Master
- Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 6+ years of IT experience, or in lieu of a degree minimum 8+ years of experience
- SAFe Agilist, SAFE Scrum Master certification is a must

• Facilitar la adopción de marcos Lean y SAFe en equipos y tribus • Alinear equipos con objetivos estratégicos y OKR • Optimizar flujo de trabajo mediante métricas como lead time, cycle time y throughput • Identificar y eliminar impedimentos organizacionales • Gestionar dependencias entre equipos y stakeholders • Facilitar ceremonias a nivel equipo y programa (PI Planning, Reviews) • Asegurar la calidad del backlog (DoR, DoD, slicing adecuado) • Impulsar prácticas de mejora continua y retrospectivas efectivas
• Facilitar ceremonias Scrum (planning, daily, review, retrospectiva). • Gestionar y dar seguimiento al backlog junto con el Product Owner. • Identificar y remover impedimentos que afecten al equipo. • Promover buenas prácticas ágiles dentro del equipo. • Asegurar la correcta actualización y uso de Jira. • Apoyar en la mejora continua de estimaciones y planificación. • Fomentar la colaboración y comunicación efectiva del equipo. • Monitorear entregas e indicadores básicos del equipo.
