Gemeinsam mit unserem Management-Team schaffst du Transparenz über die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung des Unternehmens und unterstützt strategische Entscheidungen mit fundierten Analysen und Prognosen. - Verantwortung für FP&A, Accounting & Compliance, Investor Reporting der EMIL Group über mehrere Gesellschaften hinweg. - Aufbau, Führung und Weiterentwicklung des Finance-Teams. - Aufbau transparenter Reporting-Strukturen und aussagekräftiger SaaS-Kennzahlen für das Management und das Board. - Analyse unserer Geschäftsentwicklung sowie Ableitung von Handlungsempfehlungen für Management und Geschäftsführung. - Verantwortung für Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse in Zusammenarbeit mit internen Accountants sowie externen Steuerberatern und Wirtschaftsprüfern. - Steuerung und Optimierung zentraler Finance-Prozesse mit Blick auf Effizienz, Auditfähigkeit, Skalierbarkeit und Automatisierung. - Unterstützung strategischer Projekte und Unternehmensentscheidungen durch belastbare finanzielle Analysen. - Ansprechpartner für Banken, Steuerberater, Wirtschaftsprüfer sowie weitere externe Stakeholder. - Direktes Reporting an die Gründer und interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit mit Führungspersonen anderer Teams. - Die Möglichkeit, die Finance-Funktion eines wachsenden SaaS-Unternehmens langfristig aufzubauen, mitzugestalten und leitend weiterzuentwickeln. Qualifications - Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Finance, Controlling, Corporate Finance oder Accounting. - Erfahrung in einer verantwortlichen Finance-Rolle mit Überblick über die finanzielle Steuerung eines Unternehmens. - Erfahrung in einem VC-finanzierten Startup oder Scale-up, idealerweise mit Einblick in Fundraising-Prozesse und Investor Reporting. - Erfahrung mit internationalen Gesellschaftsstrukturen (z. B. Deutschland und Schweiz). - Kenntnisse in SaaS-KPIs wie ARR, MRR, Net Revenue Retention oder Customer Acquisition Cost. - Fundierte Kenntnisse in Budgetierung, Forecasting, Reporting sowie Cashflow- und Liquiditätsmanagement. - Erfahrung in einem Software-, SaaS- oder technologiegetriebenen Unternehmen ist ein großes Plus. - Sicheres Verständnis betriebswirtschaftlicher Zusammenhänge sowie die Fähigkeit, aus Zahlen konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen abzuleiten. - Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift. - Erfahrungen mit AI-Tools und deren Anwendung auf Finanzprozesse. We are looking for a Finance Specialist specializing in Accounts Receivables to join our Global Finance team in Manila. Finance Specialist, Accounts Receivable Join Smartly’s Global Finance team and help support our growing international business from Manila. In this role, you will focus on Accounts Receivable operations, partnering with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and reliable financial reporting. You will play an important role in improving customer-facing finance processes while helping maintain the accuracy and efficiency of our global finance operations. What You Will Do - Support daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment allocations, cash application, refunds, and reconciliations. - Respond to customer and internal finance queries and escalate issues when appropriate. - Assist with collections activities by preparing customer statements, reminders, and payment follow-ups. - Proactively collect outstanding balances, investigate payment issues, and work with customers to resolve disputes and reduce overdue receivables. - Monitor finance inboxes and service desk tickets, ensuring requests are prioritized and resolved within agreed service levels. - Prepare customer statements, reminders, and collection communications. - Maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation. - Reconcile customer accounts and bank transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. - Support month-end close activities, audit requests, and routine finance reporting. - Learn and follow established finance processes, controls, and systems while contributing to team goals.
