Senior Manager, Channel Sales and Programs
Akamai Technologies
• Continuously refine the channel strategy align with Akamai and market dynamics. • Lead a team to uphold current partner ecosystem, including Distributors, VARS, DVARs, MSPs, CSPs, Alliances partners, etc. to ensure organic growth. • Identify potential partners to recruit and develop to capture new revenue stream. • Own senior stakeholder engagement both internally and externally, to ensure commitment and recourses for partner business growth. • Lead and ensure the team execute cadence partner plannings and reviews. • Bring market insights back to Akamai to foster more effective partner programs. • Together with channel marketing and channel enablement team, own channel marketing and enablement plan and execution. • Deliver new customer and new product sales targets. • Manage channel conflict according to rules of engagement. Create a fair and transparent experience for partners. • Assist partners with service delivery, customer satisfaction and billing experience.
Job Requirements
- Have 8+ years in channel sales, partner management in the IT/tech industry in India. Proven track record of managing a full spectrum of partner ecosystems and delivery business growth.
- Have experience with cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or networking solutions — ideally in a multi-product portfolio context
- Have executive presence with the ability to influence partner leadership and internal stakeholders and commercial acumen
- Be an effective communicator and team worker, able to manage conflict and lead with clarity along with situational adaptiveness
- Be based in India; willing to travel domestically and occasionally regionally (APJ)

Role Description Sales helps our prospective customers and active customers to fully experience our Global HR Platform.
