Senior Electrical Engineer

Join us in powering a future resonating with Central Moloney's strength.  Responsibilities  - Design single phase and three-phase pole and pad-mount distribution transformers according to customer and industry specifications (IEEE, ANSI, DOE, CSA).  - Prepare drawings, data schedules, nameplate details, and bills of materials for customer approval and manufacturing release.  - Review designs and winding specifications to ensure compliance with design rules and standards.  - Perform fuse coordination as required.  - Recommend material substitutions when necessary to optimize design.  - Provide shop support to resolve manufacturing issues.  - Assist Quality Control (QC) in diagnosing electrical failures during testing.  - Support sales and marketing with technical documentation and drawings for bids and proposals.   .

Job Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience (with Electrical Engineering degree)
  • Expertise in single and three-phase pole-mount and pad-mount distribution transformers, 167kVA and above required
  • Transformer coil design and protection for medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) applications.
  • Basic electrical testing of transformer coils and assemblies.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidEdge.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., INFOR).
  • Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
