Job Description

Lead Web Developer

Arcesium

• Design and develop high-performance web experiences that drive lead generation, content engagement, and conversions. • Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and outside agencies to translate marketing goals and initiatives into scalable web solutions that enhance the user experience and drive measurable results. • Lead the technical direction of our technology stack, focusing on performance, scalability, and user engagement. • Own the end-to-end development of features and systems – from architecture and implementation to optimization and long-term maintenance. • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that adheres to best web development, SEO, GEO, and accessibility practices and standards. • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize website performance, user journeys, and conversion rates through continuous iteration. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our web portfolio is aligned with the firm’s broader business objectives and strategies. • Monitor site performance and implement improvements to ensure fast load times, high availability, and seamless user interactions. • Provide technical mentorship to peers, contributing to a culture of positive continuous improvement and high-quality deliverables. • Drive the adoption of modern web technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve the effectiveness of the team and enhance overall website performance.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in modern full-stack web development.
  • Mastery of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks, including React.
  • Experience with modern content management systems, including integrating and customizing CMS platforms for dynamic content delivery.
  • Proven expert in web performance optimization, core web vitals, technical SEO, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG accessibility.
  • Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to interact with APIs.
  • Working understanding of Figma and other UI design tools and modern design patterns.
  • Experience with data analytics capture and reporting tools and services (e.g. GA4, Looker, MS Clarity, HubSpot, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to understand and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences in a remote workplace environment.
  • Able to lead projects and manage stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful deadline-driven outcomes are met.
  • Extremely self-motivated, with great time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Someone who is deeply empathetic and looks to better those around them.
