Role Description The Quality Engineering (QE) organization is the revenue protection infrastructure for Copado, directly enabling "Predictable, Reliable Releases" as a core company objective. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Copado, you'll join our Copado Quality Engineering team and be a driving force for quality in your assigned product area, ensuring every deployment enhances customer trust and business value. Your core mission is to transform the release process by: - Building an Autonomous Safety Net: Architect and implement robust, AI-driven automated test suites that serve as a proactive safety net against software regression, directly protecting the company's core. - Driving Quality-First CI/CD: Embed quality and compliance via automated gates into CI/CD pipelines to make release days obsolete, accelerate development, and prevent costly escalations. - Enhancing Strategic Value: Act as the driving force for quality in an assigned product area, ensuring every deployment builds customer trust, neutralizes competitive threats, and accelerates the shift toward an autonomous AgentOps platform. Qualifications - Core Automation & Test Architecture: Strong experience (3-5 years) with Robot Framework and standard automation tools like Qweb, Selenium, and Appium. - Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git, Jenkins, AWS, and GitLab. - Strong Test Architecture Understanding to design, maintain, and scale the automation framework. - Copado & Robotics Expertise (Highly Desired): Hands-on knowledge of Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) and Copado Explorer. - Hands-on knowledge for using Copado AI agents and specific knowledge of AI prompting techniques. - Development & Data Fluency: Technical knowledge of Python, XML, APIs, CLI, SQL, and log analysis for building robust, back-end test validation and debugging. - API Automation: Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Requests and Postman. - Exploratory Testing: Proven ability to perform exploratory testing. - Non-Functional Testing (Highly Desired): Solid understanding of non-functional testing concepts. Competence in using JMeter. - Domain Knowledge: Prior Salesforce experience (highly desired) to understand the unique challenges of testing Metadata and complex enterprise environments. - Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with testing methodologies (ISTQB certification or equivalent). This is a greenfield web engineering effort running in parallel with the existing desktop product, requiring a disciplined QA approach that validates new web functionality while ensuring parity with established clinical workflows. As QA Engineer – you will be a quality tester for the web team, building automated test coverage from the ground up and working shoulder-to-shoulder with frontend and backend engineers in a Scrum environment. Responsibilities Test Strategy & Coverage - Design and maintain a comprehensive test strategy for the web imaging product, covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios. - Define acceptance criteria and test cases for new user stories in collaboration with engineering and product management. - Ensure web feature parity with on-prem software functionality, identifying gaps and documenting clinical workflow deviations. - Track and report test coverage metrics, defect trends, and release readiness across sprints.
