Role Description Heritage Premium Meats (Burke, Dan’s Prize, Sadler’s Smokehouse, and Jennie-O Private Label Turkey), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hormel Foods Corporation, has an opportunity for a Foodservice Regional Sales Manager in the Central Region. - Maintain existing relationships and expand business with both existing and new customers. - Understand the company’s objectives, strategies, policies, and practices to effectively institute them with brokers, distributors, and customer base. - Increase existing business in current market areas and develop new business by creating opportunities and maintaining close working relationships with assigned brokers and distribution networks. - Manage the current broker network to maximize their efforts on behalf of the company’s business. - Solicit, train, and assist new brokers in developing new markets. - Gain experience in all procedures of foodservice sales, including competitive manufacturers, distributor networks, support programs, and merchandising activities. - Maintain a dynamic level of activity with all assigned brokers and distributors, including volume and item distribution management, food show support, sales meetings, product training, and end-user selling. - Act as the primary conduit between all company personnel and assigned brokers and distributors. - Specifically develop and sell Heritage Premium Meats products to Regional Chain and Operator businesses within the region. Qualifications - A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of foodservice sales/foodservice marketing/foodservice sales strategy experience. - A pattern of initiative. - Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills. - The ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects. - Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. - Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. - Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. - Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa. Requirements - This is a home office position with a flexible location in Illinois or Iowa. The Senior Business Development Manager serves as D&G Solutions’ primary growth lead for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and related federal organizations. Reporting to the Vice President of Growth, this position is responsible for: - Developing and executing account strategies - Identifying and qualifying opportunities - Building and maintaining customer relationships - Leading capture efforts - Supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives within the Coast Guard and DHS markets Working closely with executive leadership, operational leaders, project managers, capture personnel, proposal staff, and industry partners, the Senior Business Development Manager helps expand D&G’s market presence and increase contract awards. This role proactively shapes opportunities before solicitation release, develops strategic customer relationships, identifies emerging requirements, and leads pursuits from opportunity identification through contract award.
