Medical Editor/Transcriptionist

• Report Transcription and Editing: Using knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and experience with keyboarding, produce high-quality medical reports and records within turnaround time expectations. • Discrepancy Processing: Recognize, identify, and correct discrepancies and errors in dictations and ordered examinations. • Workflow Management: Monitor transcription applications and manage multiple worklists; troubleshoot system problems and correct or escalate to appropriate staff. • Staying Current: Stay abreast of new medical terminology, procedures, medications and other medical language, using on-line and hard-copy resources. • Competencies Accuracy: Transcribes or edits medical records, reports, and documents and ensures they are accurate, consistent, and meet with coding and billing standards. • Analytical Thinking: Discriminates between important and unimportant details, recognizes inconsistencies between facts and/or data, and is able to determine what to do with them. • Attention to Detail: Concerned with the implications of the smaller details of medical reports. • Knowledge of Grammar and Medical Terminology: Has good grasp of English grammar, spelling, and medical terminology related to radiology.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare setting required.
- Certificate or training in anatomy and medical terminology required.
- Previous transcription, scribe, or clinical charting experience preferred.
- Radiology transcription is a plus.
- High school graduate or GED.

Role Description We’re looking for our next Managing Broker. Could It Be You? Operating as the "boots on the ground" representative in Alberta, the AB Managing Broker serves as the primary licensee for Zolo Realty's broker and brokerage operations within the province. This role entails comprehensive management of obligations to all regulatory bodies and boards, alongside providing the subject matter expertise necessary to launch and refine new products, such as EazySell. The core objective is to drive transaction volume growth through the strategic oversight of direct agents and external partners. An ideal candidate will already be licensed as a Broker in the province and have years of management experience. In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Maintain and uphold in good standing the Zolo Realty AB Broker and Brokerage License, serving as the designated provincial Managing Broker in good standing. - Recruit and onboard new agents to optimize Zolo's lead distribution across targeted geographic sectors. - Oversee and coordinate with external Zolo partner agents to ensure operational coverage in remote regions. - Act as the definitive subject matter expert for AB agents regarding transactional guidance and regulatory compliance. - Serve as the provincial lead for new product deployments, providing the strategic insight required for successful and compliant launches. - Develop compliance and sales training. Qualifications - Hold an active RECA Broker License: Must currently hold, or be immediately eligible to register for, an active "Broker" level licence with the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). - Maintain suitability and professional standing: Must be in good standing with RECA with a history of professional conduct, demonstrating the ability to pass RECA’s background and suitability reviews. - Act as a regulatory liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for RECA, ensuring immediate notification (within 5 business days) of any structural, corporate, or roster changes within the brokerage. - Provide practice review & audit leadership: Lead the brokerage through scheduled or unannounced RECA Practice Reviews (audits) and ensure the accurate, timely submission of the annual accountant's report. - Manage financial risk mitigation: Maintain zero-tolerance protocols for trust account deficits, improper commission payouts, or unauthorized handling of consumer deposits. - Ensure advertising & branding compliance: Review and approve all brokerage advertising, social media marketing, and associate-administered websites to guarantee strict alignment with RECA’s advertising rules (e.g., clear display of the brokerage’s licensed name, no misleading claims). - Oversee misconduct investigation & reporting: Proactively identify and investigate "red flags" (e.g., suspicious financial transactions, fraudulent documentation, or rule breaches). Must understand and execute the statutory duty to mitigate consumer harm and report serious licensee misconduct directly to RECA. - Handle insurance and dispute resolution: Manage consumer and industry disputes, and oversee the brokerage’s mandatory Errors and Omissions insurance through the Real Estate Insurance Exchange (REIX). - Have several years of brokerage or team management experience. - Possess in-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape and guidelines, to help shape Zolo’s future products. - Are a self-starter, willing to leverage Zolo’s cloud architecture to maximize transaction count and lead conversion.
