Senior Systems Administrator
Unisys
• Administer and support ClearPath OS2200 environments across installation, configuration, daily operations, and lifecycle management • Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity to maintain stable, secure, and efficient operations • Lead system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and environment changes using controlled ITIL change management practices • Configure and support core platform services including TCP/IP networking, batch processing, printing, storage, tape, and security controls • Analyze system performance trends, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement tuning improvements to optimize throughput and resilience • Support integration with database, middleware, transaction, and application workloads across customer environments • Develop and maintain automation, monitoring, scripts, and operational tooling to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort • Respond to incidents, participate in on-call support, and provide escalation management during critical outages or service disruptions • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials • Partner with internal teams and customers to deliver reliable managed services, support disaster recovery readiness, and drive continuous service improvement
Job Requirements
- Strong expertise in ClearPath OS2200 system administration
- Mainframe OS installation, configuration, and monitoring
- Experience with TCP/IP networking and certificates
- Experience with workload automation tools (OpCon, Control-M, AMS)
- Experience with tape and storage management (STAR, Disk, VTL)
- Experience with RDMS/DMS database environments and integration
- Experience with batch and transaction processing systems
- Must be authorized to work and residing in the United States
