Role Description We are looking for a strategic, highly organized, and relationship-driven Student Success Coach to guide students and families through one of the most important journeys of their lives. This is not a traditional administrative counseling role. Our coaches act as strategic partners for families, helping students build competitive profiles, stay accountable, navigate admissions milestones, and position themselves successfully for highly selective universities. You will become the primary point of contact for a caseload of students and families while collaborating closely with our Client Success and Essay Editing teams, allowing you to focus on high-level coaching and admissions strategy rather than logistics or administrative coordination. We are specifically looking for candidates who understand both: - The nuances of the UC/CSU systems and UC PIQ strategy. - The broader Top 100 admissions landscape. What You’ll Own - Individualized Coaching & Accountability: Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, testing strategy, and application timelines through regular meetings and ongoing communication. - Strategic Admissions Planning: Help students build competitive long-term profiles aligned with their academic interests, intended majors, and target universities. - UC & Common App Positioning: Advise students on how to strategically position their stories, achievements, activities, and essays across both the UC application system and the Common App. - Parent Communication & Guidance: Serve as a trusted and professional advisor for families by providing transparency, reassurance, accountability, and strategic direction throughout the admissions journey. - Student Progress & Intervention: Proactively monitor student progress, identify gaps or missed milestones early, and intervene strategically to keep students on track. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Essay Editing, Client Success, and internal leadership teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality student experience. Qualifications - Minimum 3+ years of college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring experience. - Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQs and admissions positioning. - Strong understanding of Top 100 U.S. universities and admissions strategy. Role Description The Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for enrolling OHSU Practice Plan practitioners, OHSU affiliated practitioners, OHSU facilities, and OHSU Partners’ facilities with government and insurance carriers. This role also involves initiating and maintaining active billing status in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and contracts for governmental and commercial payers, as well as Medical Staff Bylaws. Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent required, AND 2 years in health care, medical billing and/or insurance environment. - Experience with provider enrollment or insurance credentialing, including knowledge of governmental and commercial insurance and HIPAA regulations. - Understanding of managed care contract policies in a health care or insurance carrier setting required; OR Associate's degree and 1 year experience in health care and/or health insurance; OR a combination of education and experience. - Demonstrated software database experience for efficient generation of letters and other correspondence, activity tracking, and report production. - Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team and customer base, using excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written). - Strong organizational skills, accurate data entry, and the ability to multi-task. - Proficiency with standard office equipment and software such as Microsoft Office. - Knowledge of health care information systems. - Familiarity with legal, state, and health care insurance guidelines, assuring compliance with regulatory agencies. Requirements - Utilize Health Information Systems to analyze and investigate practitioner information, and distribute provider credentialing and enrollment packets. - Prepare and distribute practitioner and facility data, complying with the requirements outlined by state government, federal government, and commercial carriers. - Perform data entry of sensitive provider information in federal and state provider enrollment systems. - Collaborate with OHSU Medical Affairs Program, OHSU departments, and OHSU Partners to achieve accurate credentialing, timely enrollment, and compliant billing status. - Troubleshoot problem claims in EPIC work queues. - Maintain positive relations with insurance carriers to assist with timely reimbursement, problem solving, and plan participation. - Perform timely annual enrollment and termination of residents and fellows. - Collect and maintain appropriate provider documentation and licensure. - Perform manual enrollment processes and facilitate practitioner payer re-credentialing and revalidations. - Update and maintain practitioner and facility database as a central resource for OHSU, OHSU Health Plan, and OHSU partners. - Document, maintain, and understand regulatory requirements for governmental and commercial payers. - Develop and update necessary workflows and documentation relevant to provider enrollment. - Provide ad hoc reporting based on need or request. - Participate in special claims correction projects related to enrollment. - Promote and implement LEAN processes. - Perform other duties as assigned.
