Graphics Project Manager

• Lead the full lifecycle of packaging graphics projects including innovation, redesigns, line extensions, and maintenance initiatives • Manage and communicate artwork project timeline, priorities, and status updates to all stakeholders • Coordinate cross-functional inputs to define artwork project scope and ensure alignment with business objectives • Monitor milestones and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies • Ensure artwork is executed on time and within budget • Manage artwork development from initial design concept through production-ready files • Facilitating design development and ensuring creative intent is feasible for print production • Lead artwork routing, proofing, revisions, and final approvals across stakeholders • Coordinate design adaptations across multiple structures, SKUs, and substrates • Ensure accuracy of all packaging content and regulatory compliance in partnership with FSQA prior to release • Act as the central point of contact across Marketing, Brand, R&D, Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external partners • Build and maintain strong relationships with creative team, design agencies, printers, and suppliers • Support pre-production activities including design feasibility, printability, and supplier capability alignment • Coordinate proofing, color approvals, and final release to print • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practice sharing across teams
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–7+ years of experience in project management, packaging graphics, or artwork production
- Experience in CPG, food, retail, or regulated industries preferred
- Experience with premedia suppliers, packaging design, production art, prepress, and print production workflows required
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Experience with project and artwork management software and workflow tools (e.g., online proofing systems)
