Role Description We're hiring a Shopify Plus Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of website builds, redesigns, and CRO projects for fast-growing eCommerce brands. You'll sit at the center of every project — managing clients, driving cross-functional teams, and keeping scope, timelines, and budgets locked in. This is a client-facing, outcome-owning role — not a coordinator seat. You'll be expected to bring structure, judgment, and proactive communication from day one. What You'll Own - Lead full-cycle Shopify Plus site builds and redesigns from kickoff to launch - Run weekly client calls, manage expectations, and keep stakeholders aligned - Translate client goals into clear project plans, sprint priorities, and delivery milestones - Coordinate internal designers, developers, QA, and email teams across time zones - Maintain clean scope documentation — catch and escalate drift before it becomes a problem - Track velocity, blockers, and deliverables using tools like Asana, ClickUp, or Trello - Manage 3–5 active projects simultaneously without dropping balls This Role Is NOT For You If… - Your Shopify experience is limited to basic theme edits or template stores - You've only worked in-house or as a solo freelancer — agency pace and multi-client juggling is different - You need rigid process handbooks to do your job - You're uncomfortable owning client relationships directly Qualifications - 2–4 years of project management experience at a digital or web agency — not in-house, not freelance-only - Hands-on experience managing Shopify Plus builds — you understand themes, custom dev workflows, app integrations, and launch QA - Direct client communication experience — you've run calls, delivered hard news, and managed scope pushback professionally - Strong understanding of eCommerce and DTC brand operations — you know what a high-converting PDP looks like and why AOV matters - Proficiency with PM tools: ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Slack (daily use, not just awareness) - Comfortable working remotely and async across US time zones Requirements - Experience with CRO strategy or A/B testing frameworks - Familiarity with Klaviyo or eCommerce email automation flows - Agile / Scrum background with backlog management experience - Exposure to BigCommerce or headless commerce projects How to Apply Submit your application through Workable. Please include: - Your CV or resume in English - Any relevant case studies, client testimonials, or project examples - A brief note on the most complex Shopify Plus project you've managed — what was the scope, the team size, and your role Important: Include the phrase "Shopify Hero" in your application message to confirm you've read this post in full. Applications without it will not be reviewed.
