Job Description

Data Architect

CSG

• Define and lead changes in business processes, database architecture, and data warehouse technologies. • Design and implement scalable, resilient database solutions using PostgreSQL and SQL Server. • Lead database resiliency, disaster recovery, and failover initiatives. • Develop and maintain enterprise data models and Data Lake architectures. • Collaborate with application architects, Directors, and Senior Managers across Customer Care, Product, and Technology domains. • Provide subject matter expertise in data architecture, reporting, analytics, and process optimization. • Lead cross-functional projects and technology initiatives across the Technology and Product organization (TAP).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of overall IT experience with 2+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
  • 7+ years of experience with database resiliency, disaster recovery techniques, and failover capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Database Architecture, Data Modeling, AWS, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise database and data warehouse solutions at an Architect level.
  • Experience with Data Lake technologies and proficiency in Power BI.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following data platform technologies is preferred: Astronomer, dbt, or AWS MWAA.
  • Experience with Data Analytics and reporting solutions is a plus.
