Job Description

Chief of Staff

Pearl

Role Description A profitable, founder-led direct-to-consumer (DTC) health products company is looking for a Chief of Staff to take ownership of operations and high-ambiguity executive projects so the founder can focus exclusively on product and growth. The business runs two active brands at an eight-figure revenue run rate, is bootstrapped, and operates with a deliberately lean, fully remote team. There is no dedicated operations layer yet — this is the company's first senior operational hire, and the function is being built from the ground up. Day-to-day, the role spans: - Executive project execution - Weekly supply chain coordination in Airtable - Operating-system and SOP building - Monday analytics reporting to the founder You will receive objectives with minimal direction, define the problem, execute end-to-end, and return with recommendations rather than status updates. Success means supply operations running fully off the founder's plate within 90 days and projects completed independently. Qualifications - 3–7 years of post-graduation experience in operations, strategy, or management consulting, currently IC-level or leading a team of 1–3 - Background from one of: - Ex-founder (company ran 12+ months) - Ex-management consulting analyst-to-associate (MBB or recognized regional equivalent) - Ex-Chief of Staff or BizOps lead at a sub-$50M startup - Ex-startup function lead in operations, strategy, or growth at a VC-backed company - Moderate-to-advanced financial modeling in Excel (verifiable; not full DCF) - Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least one operational system, process, or function built from scratch with a named, quantifiable outcome - Hands-on experience with project management tools (ClickUp or Notion) and Airtable - C1+ English (CEFR); C2 strongly preferred - Minimum 4–6 hours/day overlap with AEST (UTC+10), Monday–Friday Requirements - Experience in DTC, eCommerce, or physical-products operations (Shopify environment) - Supply chain operations, vendor management, or 3PL coordination experience - Finance or analytics depth beyond core modeling (relevant for Phase 2 scope) - Familiarity with AI-assisted workflow or automation tools (e.g., Cursor) Benefits - Competitive Salary: Based on experience and skills - Remote Work: Fully remote—work from anywhere - Team Incentives: Recognition for maintaining 100% CRM hygiene and on-time reporting - Generous PTO: In accordance with company policy - Health Coverage for PH-based talents: HMO coverage after 3 months for full-time employees - Direct Mentorship: Guidance from international industry experts - Learning & Development: Ongoing access to resources for professional growth - Global Networking: Connect with professionals worldwide Company Description Pearl works with the top 1% of candidates from around the world and connects them with the best startups in the US and EU.
