Job Description
Senior Implementation Engineer
Katana Cloud Inventory
• Own end-to-end implementation of Katana for high-value and complex accounts — multi-channel, multi-location merchants with real operational depth: discovery, solution design, integrations, data migration, configuration, and go-live. • Design the target system architecture for each account, mapping real-world manufacturing, inventory, and fulfillment workflows into a working Katana configuration. • Lead data migration and setup — bills of materials, product and material catalogs, stock, suppliers, historical data — with data integrity intact at go-live. • Build and configure integrations between Katana and the customer's wider system landscape: Shopify, WooCommerce, accounting, shipping, and EDI, using native connectors, APIs, and middleware. • Develop custom solutions, scripts, and workarounds via API, automation tooling, and middleware that extend Katana to fit advanced requirements — scoped to what each account needs, and a growing part of the role over time. • Use AI as a core delivery tool — building accelerators, tooling, and solutions that raise the speed and quality of every go-live. • Build reusable integration solutions, migration tooling, and playbooks that raise delivery speed and quality across the whole Solution Engineering team. • Take pre-sales calls as part of a full-cycle process — validating technical fit and integration feasibility before commitment. • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering and Product to scope and escalate work beyond configuration, with clear diagnostics and prioritization. • Partner with Sales and Customer Success so complex accounts launch cleanly and are set up for expansion — and mentor Solutions Engineers on hands-on implementation and API techniques.
Job Requirements
- A track record of leading full software implementations end-to-end for high-value or complex accounts — in B2B SaaS, ERP, MRP, or inventory and manufacturing software.
- Direct, hands-on experience with inventory and manufacturing operations — a genuine understanding of how production, stock, and fulfilment actually run across channels and locations, not just in theory.
- Hands-on API and integration experience: building or configuring integrations across e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce), accounting, shipping, and EDI.
- Comfort working directly in systems — configuring, mapping and migrating data, troubleshooting integrations, and building workarounds.
- Strong technical discovery and solution design. You translate a real-world operation into a working system.
- Excellent communication. You can lead a technical conversation with a customer and explain a complex setup clearly.
- Comfortable with AI, and hungry to build with it. You're not afraid of AI — you reach for tools like Claude to dig into complex problems and move faster, and you're excited to push what they can do. We use AI every day here, and we'll back you to grow that muscle fast.
- Bonus points:** scripting (JavaScript, Python, SQL); iPaaS or middleware (Make, Zapier); experience with MRP, ERP, or inventory platforms; and especially — you've already built something with Claude or Claude Code, even a personal project, since it shows the curiosity and builder instinct we're after.
Benefits
- Market-aligned base salary
- Employee Stock Option Program — you share in what you build
- Time off that's genuinely encouraged: statutory annual leave aligned with local requirements, with a global minimum of 4 weeks, 3 paid health days annually, and your birthday off — because it should actually feel like a day off
- Fully paid 1-month sabbatical + 1,000 EUR travel budget after every four years at Katana — time to reset, explore, or focus on personal growth
- Home office stipend to help you create a setup that works for you
- Health & wellness package through Sun Life
- Modern tools and tech, including AI-enabled tools that help you work smarter and stay focused on high-impact work

Role Description Implementation Monitoring (IM) is a structured, country-led approach designed to systematically track the progress of immunization programmes aimed at reaching zero-dose and under-immunized populations, particularly in underserved settings. These include urban poor communities, fragile and humanitarian contexts, pastoralist and remote populations, and other marginalized groups experiencing inequities in access to immunization services through a subnational focus. Currently, monitoring of ZD is primarily done after the fact, based on vaccination coverage. While some data is available on vaccine stock at local level and compiled in Thrive, other data is not available. Implementation Monitoring will use additional health systems and in process indicators at local level on the pathway of change to determine whether the area is on track for coverage and equity improvements or need course correction. Data will be analyzed and used at local level and inform national and global priorities. The approach focuses on the routine monitoring of programme implementation through a combination of core and context-specific indicators to identify bottlenecks on the critical pathway of change, support timely course correction, strengthen accountability, and improve programme performance. Implementation Monitoring is intended to reinforce a continuous cycle of data-driven decision-making, programme action, learning, and adaptation at subnational and national levels. Building on lessons learned from implementation monitoring pilots, the Big Catch-Up experience under Gavi 5.0, and Thrive 360, UNICEF proposes scaling up this approach in Gavi 6.0 to strengthen accountability, improve programme responsiveness, and accelerate equitable immunization coverage in priority countries. The proposed implementation monitoring approach is expected to: - Improve programme accountability and visibility - Strengthen data-driven decision-making at local and national levels - Enable timely identification and resolution of implementation bottlenecks - Improve coordination across stakeholders - Enhance equitable immunization coverage and service delivery - Institutionalizing continuous learning and adaptive programme management Qualifications - Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Health Systems Management, International Development, or a related field. Requirements - Substantial professional experience supporting immunization, equity-focused programming, and implementation monitoring initiatives, including field experience at operational level. - Strong technical expertise in programme performance monitoring, data analysis, reporting systems, and stakeholder coordination, preferably within UNICEF, WHO, Gavi, or other donor-funded public health programmes. - Experience working across multiple countries, particularly in low-resource or humanitarian settings, will be highly desirable. - Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in immunization, public health, monitoring and evaluation, or health systems strengthening. - Demonstrated experience developing implementation monitoring frameworks, indicators, reporting tools, and performance tracking systems. - Strong analytical and data management skills, including experience with Power BI or similar dashboard and data visualization platforms. - Familiarity with zero-dose, equity-focused immunization programming, and Gavi-supported initiatives. - Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including governments, UNICEF, WHO, donors, and country teams. - Excellent report writing, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality outputs within tight timelines. - Fluency in English required; knowledge of French or another UN language is an asset. Benefits - Attractive compensation and benefits package. - Diverse opportunities for professional and personal development.
