Director – Research and Consulting
Dodge Construction Network
• Lead end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements for C-suite and senior executive audiences, including scoping, analysis, synthesis, and presentation of findings • Oversee projects focused on market sizing and forecasting, customer and needs analysis, product expansion and optimization, and strategic implementation support • Serve as a senior advisor to clients, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations • Ensure high standards of quality, rigor, consistency, and client satisfaction across all engagements • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and consultants, fostering both technical excellence and professional growth • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support career progression for team members • Build scalable processes and best practices to support a growing consulting organization • Partner with leadership to ideate, design, and launch new market research and consulting product offerings • Help define methodologies, value propositions, and delivery models for new insights products • Contribute to continuous improvement of existing offerings based on client feedback and market needs • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to support business development efforts and articulate the value of insights offerings • Assist with proposal development, thought leadership, and client presentations, as needed
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of strategic operations and client project management experience
- Proven experience leading consulting projects, including market sizing and projections, customer and needs analysis, product strategy, and implementation support
- Demonstrated success managing and developing early- to mid-career professionals
- Experience developing and deploying new products or service offerings within a market research, consulting, or insights organization
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to C-suite audiences
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance analytical rigor and practical business impact
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent education and work experience.
