Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer
DMS International
• Architecting & managing secure, high availability systems, adhering to industry standards and following best practices. • Implementing, managing, & optimizing AVD solutions in CI/CD pipelines. • Designing & implementing approaches to continuously update & secure AVD resources. • Developing scripts to automate tasks and deployments in a cloud environment. • Documenting systems and processes for capability growth and improved team collaboration. • Learning and adapting to new Azure cloud resources, with opportunities for formal training.
Job Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret-level Security Clearance.
- 4+ years of experience in Azure and AVD technologies or similar Virtual Desktop solutions.
- Experience with Windows Installer technologies and implementation of shared VM resources.
- Experience architecting & designing Azure-based solutions.
- Understanding of high-availability environments such as clustering, failover, and geographic redundancy.
- Understanding of network design & topologies including edge services & point-to-point VPNs within cloud environs.
- Microsoft Azure, AWS, RHEL, and/or Windows Server certification(s) preferred.
- Proficient with a scripting programming language like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Proficient with Configuration Management techniques using Ansible.
- Experience with managed Anti-virus tools like McAfee and Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator.
- Familiarization with Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation.
- Atlassian Tools Suite experience (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket).
